Nonexistence of a ηNN quasibound state
We have solved the Faddeev equations for ηd elastic scattering using realistic separable interactions for the N N and coupled ηN-πN subsystems. We found that including explicitly the pion channel in the integral equations drastically reduces the attraction that is present in the system. As a consequence, the existence of a ηN N quasibound state is excluded by the modern ηN amplitude analysis.

متن کاملBound-state Effects in T ---) 7 + Resonance R - M
We study the effect of b-6 bound state dynamics on the amplitude for the reaction 7’ + 7 + Resonance. We argue from our results that the recently disci>vered ~(8320) must have a scalar, rather than a pseudoscalar, coupling to the b quark. متن کاملSecond bound state of PsH.
The existence of a second bound state of PsH that is electronically stable and also stable against positron annihilation by the normal 2gamma and 3gamma processes is demonstrated by explicit calculation. The state can be found in the ;{2,4}S;{o} symmetries with the two electrons in a spin-triplet state. The binding energy against dissociation into the H(2p)+Ps(2p) channel was 7.03 x 10;(-4) har...
